Product details
HV9919BDB1 Supertex High Current LED Driver IC Evaluation Board
The HV9919BDB1 from Supertex Inc. (a subsidiary of Microchip Technology) is a high current LED driver IC evaluation board designed to drive one LED at 1.0A from a 9.0 – 16 VDC input. Featured on-board is the HV9919 hysteric buck LED driver IC.
An analogue and digital PWM dimming mode is included. With the analogue dimming mode the output of the LED can be controlled by using a 0 – 2.0 V analogue signal applied between the ADIM and GND pins; 0 V gives 0% and 2.0 V gives 100%. In this mode the PWM dimming frequency is set to 1 kHz on the board. The digital PWM dimming mode is achieved by using an external TTL-compatible square wave source applied between DIM and GND. In this case the PWM dimming frequency and duty ration are set by the external wave source.
