Tektronix Mixed Domain Oscilloscopes MDO4000C Series with Spectrum Analyzer
The Tektronix MDO4000C Series offers up to 1GHz sample rate, whilst delivering debug features, selectable record length and a full suite of automated measurements with 4 analog channels and 16 digital channels. The MDO4000C uses an integral Spectrum Analyzer providing 9KHz-3GHz (suffix +MDO4SA3) or 9KHz-6GHz (Suffix +MDO4SA6) of spectrum acquisition. The spectrum analyser provides simultaneous synchronised acquisition of analog, digital and spectral signals, making them useful for incorporating wireless communications (IoT) and EMI troubleshooting.
The spectrum analyzer offers 4 different traces or views:

Min Hold
Key Benefits
Embedded Design
Ability to discover and solve issues swiftly with a system debug on mixed-signal embedded systems including most common serial bus and wireless technologies.
Power Design
The widest selection of power probes allows for reliable and repeatable voltage, current and power measurements using an automated power quality, switching loss and harmonics, ripple, modulation and safe operating area measurements.
EMI troubleshooting
Narrows down the source of EMI within an embedded system by determining which time domain signals may be causing unwanted EMI.
Manufacturing Test and Troubleshooting
The MDO4000C has a unique 6 in 1 that minimizes rack or bench space through integrating six instruments in one single instrument. It reduces the cost associated with syncing multiple different instrument types.
Key Features
4 analog channels
20Mpts record length on all channels
Integral spectrum analyzer
Integral 4-digit digital voltmeter (DVM) and 5-digit frequency counter
Standard ports: Ethernet, VGA, USB host (2) and device, AUX OUT, REF IN and AFG output, VESA and Kensington lock interfaces
10.4 in XGA 1024 x 768 display with automatic dimming
Dimensions 229 x 439 x 147 mm (9 x 17.3 x 5.8 in)
FAQ's
Q. Why choose Mixed Signal Oscilloscope?
A. A key advantage to a Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO) is that you use it in a similar way to a normal Oscilloscope however, an MSO allows for multiple time-aligned digital and analogue waveforms to be presented in a single display. This enables the operation of embedding a circuit for analysing.
Q. What is a Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes used for?
A. Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes not only capture digital and analogue signals, but they're a measurement application for verifying and debugging. Used in almost the same way as an oscilloscope and combines the measurement capabilities found in a logic analyzer. Used in a broad range of consumer and industrial applications.0 of spectrum acquisition.
Supplied with
Passive probe (1 per analog channel), front cover, accessory bag, installation and safety instructions, printed manual (English, French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese), power cord, OpenChoice® desktop software (on CD), calibration certificate
