Schneider Electric Preventa XPS-DM Safety Relays.
From Schneider Electric this is the Preventa XPSDM series of safety relays and safety modules designed for guard monitoring coded magnetic safety switches. The safety relays have 2 safety outputs and 2 solid state outputs signalling to the process PLC. Front facing LEDs allow you to monitor the circuit status. XPSDM Safety relays also monitor 2 independent sensors plus if you need to monitor more magnetic switches they can be connected in series parallel.
Safety relays from the XPSDM (XPSDMB….P) series include removable terminal blocks providing maximum machine maintenance.

- Created and designed for guard monitoring, this range of XPS-DM safety relays are predominantly used for monitoring XCS-DMC and XCS-DMP coded magnetic safety switches.
- When the XCS-DM safety switch is used in conjunction with the XPS-DM safety relay, together they offer a certified safety solution for guard monitoring
- This range of safety relays allowed for multi-switch monitoring to Safety Category 4 solutions which is in accordance with EN954-1/ISO 13849-1
- The XPS-DMB has the capabilities to monitor 2 independent sensors and modules whilst the XPS-DME can monitor 6 independent sensors and modules
- 2 safety outputs and 2 solid-state outputs for signalling to the process PLC
- LEDs are positioned on the front face which provides signalling information on the monitoring circuit status.
