Allen Bradley Guardmaster - Ferrogard GD2 Non Contact Safety Switch
Experience superior machine guard locking and protect personnel from hazardous areas with the Ferrogard GD2 magnetically actuated non-contact safety switch by Allen Bradley Guardmaster. Expertly designed to be installed on safety guards and gates, this switch works by isolating the control power to the machine when the safety barrier is opened. The magnetic actuator is removed upon guard door release, which opens the NC safety contacts. This stops dangerous machines in which are in motion, preventing injury to operators.
This safety switch is designed with resilient stainless steel housing to protect against impacts, making it particularly useful for heavy duty applications. It also has a wider temperature range than the plastic Ferrogard switches, ensuring it can be used in more flexible applications. It has a high tolerance to door misalignment due to its large sensing field, giving you greater stability and security, and offers non-contact reliability.
To keep your operations running smoothly this switch has protected safety contacts, unlike other magnetic switches, which help to ensure that it does not fail to danger. It has an excellent IP68 rating (NEMA 6P), which means that it is dust-tight and suitable for use in wet environments due to its fully sealed contacts. All Ferrogard switches have internal non-resettable overload protection on the safety contact and offer simplified set up and alignment for your convenience.
The Allen Bradley Guardmaster range of machine safety products offers flexible, cost-effective solutions for every application to provide essential protection for your equipment and personnel, and enhance productivity in the workplace.
