Product details
Honeywell Micro Switch™ - SX Series Subminiature Basic Switch
The SX series of microswitches from Honeywell provide a consistent performance and are suited to applications with repetitive use. This series features bifurcated gold contacts ensuring a high level of reliability while gold contacts enable low energy switching. Offering an operating temperature range of -54°C to +204°C, SX switches present a solution that can perform in the harshest conditions reliably.
Features & Benefits
Long operating life up to 10000000 cycles
Consistent precision switch characteristics
Built from military grade components
Lightweight and compact
Choice of actuation (plunger or integral and auxiliary actuators)
Choice of electrical termination (quick connect, solder, PCB)
Choice of operating characteristics
Product Application Information
SX series microswitches are highly precise and are used for simple on/off applications. In industrial power generation applications these microswitches can be used as fuel level switches for gas and oil. They are also recommended for use as temperature switches and pressure switches in precision switch assemblies. These SX microswitches can also be used for aerospace applications. For example, they can be used to monitor the status of landing gear, and in precision assemblies to monitor whether aircraft doors are locked. They could also be used in commercial cockpits for toggle, joystick or push button assemblies. Other general applications for these microswitches include vending machines, timing devices, appliances, test instruments and communication equipment
