PR Electronics 5116A Programmable Transmitter
PR Electronics 5116A programmable transmitter for linearizing electronic temperature measurement. With a wide variety of configurable inputs for current/voltage or temperature and conversion of linear resistance the 5116 transmitters are suitable for a wide range of temperature measurement applications.
The 5116A transmitter can be configured, with or without a power supply, using the PReset software and the Loop Link communications unit (RS stock number 796-7020).
The 5116A signal conditioner is based on a microprocessor core with an efficient program operation. The basic calibration data and present set-up are stored in an EEPROM thereby avoiding the loss or change of data at power off.

• Automatic 4- / 3-wire or programmable 2-wire cable compensation
• Active or passive current output and selectable voltage output
• LED indicators for normal operation, malfunction and for each active output relay

• Configurable sensor error detection including NAMUR NE43
• Conversion of linear resistance variation to a standard analogue current / voltage signal
