MN63Y12xx Series NFC RFID Tag ICs
Panasonic MN63Y12xx series RFID Tag ICs with built-in non-volatile memory for use in wireless non-contact near-field communications. The devices feature an encrypted communication function that uses the AES (128 bits) private-key cryptosystem.
The MN63Y1212 (824-0708) has only one RF operational mode which is used for communication between reader/writer and RFID device. This mode allows battery-free operation that uses only the power supplied from the antenna of reader/writer. The MN63Y1213 (824-0717), MN63Y1208 (824-0701) and MN63Y1210A (824-0704) feature two additional operational modes: Serial and Tunnel; these two modes require a suitable supply voltage of 1.7 to 3.6V. Tunnel mode allows communications between reader/writer and host CPU via this IC.
The MN63Y1210A device has a serial interface compatible with both asynchronous UART (up to 38.4 kbps) and clock-synchronous (up to 1 Mbps) applications, and can also operate at 5V when the 5V tolerant I/O and clamp function is turned on.
Built-in 4-Kbit FeRAM non-volatile memory with fast write and low power consumption.
RF interface compliant with JISX6319-4 (212/424 kbps) and ISO/IEC14443 TypeB (106/212 kbps) of the 13.56-MHz contactless IC card standards.
Encryption communication function that uses AES (128 bits) private-key cryptosystem.
Supply voltage range (multi-mode types only): 1.7 to 3.6V
Serial interface compatible with I2C (100 kHz, multi-mode types only)
RFID - Panasonic
