Product details

K3 Series

From the trusted RS PRO brand, a series of adjustable pressure switches designed for hydraulic and pneumatic applications. Designed to detect a rise or fall in fluid pressure, the durable switches provide an electrical signal once the setpoint pressure is reached. Pre-set pressure is adjusted by rotating a screw which is located in the centre of the switch head. Clockwise to increase the pressure and anti-clockwise to decrease the pressure. Mechanical stops protect both the spring and the micro-switch from over pressurisation.

Robustly constructed from steel, the RS PRO pressure switches can be mounted in any orientation making them easy to install in a wide range of industrial environments. Compact in design the switches are ideal for designs requiring a small footprint. Connection via a “BSP parallel Male thread. Electrical connection DIN 43650 IP65 plug.

Features and Benefits

• Robust steel construction
• Can be mounted in any orientation
• 120 Cycles/min switching frequency
• 0.5A maximum load (at 250 VAC)
• Accuracy 3% of set pressure
• Fixed Hysteresis 10% membrane / 15% Piston
• Wide temperature range -20° to +80°C
• Mechanical stops to protect the spring and Micro-switch from over pressurisation
• Wide adjustment range
• N/C or N/O contacts SPDT
• Electrical connectors DIN 43650 plug to IP65
• ” BSP male G (parallel thread)
• Compact and cost-effective

Applications

RS PRO Adjustable pressure switches are suitable for a diverse range of industrial applications. Due to their versatility and simple mounting design, the switches can be used in both pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Some of the more common are

• Pumps
• Compressed air systems
• Machine tools
• Process control equipment
• Sensors
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Valves and switches

Pressure Switches

Pressure switches that allow microswitch operation once a pre-set pressure is reached. K and K3 Series incorporate a mechanical stop providing over-pressure protection for the spring and microswitch. Electrical connections for all models to DIN 43650.
