Allen Bradley MicroLogix - Power Supplies
Complete your control system with a Compact I/O Power Supply from Allen Bradley and keep your automated machine processes running smoothly.
The 1769-PA2, -PB2, -PA4, -PB4, -PS120 essential power supply modules provide 5V DC and 24V DC power for Compact I/O modules. A power supply module must be included in each bank of Compact I/O modules, unless the modules are connected directly to a MicroLogix 800/1500 base unit. Up to eight I/O modules can be installed on either side of the power supply, for a maximum of 16 modules, within the load capacity of the power supply, allowing you to boost the functionality of your control system.
1769 Compact I/O power supplies distribute power from either side of the power supply. For example, a 2A at 5 Vdc power supply can provide 1A to the right side of the power supply and 1A to the left or 2A in one direction. The maximum amount of current the system supports in one direction is 2A at 5 Vdc and 1A at 24 Vdc.
Allen Bradley are industry leaders in PLC systems and manufacture a range of versatile, high-quality PLC components that you can use to construct your ideal control system. The MicroLogix range of controllers and accessories are expertly designed to maximise the efficiency and capabilities of your machine processes.
What are I/O modules used for?
Input/Output modules (I/O modules) communicate signals and information to a computer processor and transmit responses from the processor to external devices, acting as a mediator. They can be used in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems to automate machine processes. These control systems are often used in industrial automation, for example to monitor and control machinery in production lines. Inputs can be triggered via things like switches, sensors, and buttons while outputs send instructions to devices, such as motor starts and relays. Allen Bradley PLC systems provide dependable and flexible control capabilities to give you seamless performance.
