DMC MH800 Miniature Special Purpose Crimp Tool

A miniature special purpose crimp tool specifically designed to crimp the centre contact of Type 43 (T43) coaxial connectors with a wire size range of 20 to 32 AWG (miniature to sub-miniature). The MH800 crimp tool from DMC has a lightweight design and uses interchangeable positioners for precision crimping. A fixed position locator and double ratchet action ensure that consistent crimping accuracy and precision are achieved and partial crimps are prevented. The MH800 crimp tool has tight gaging tolerances and also features an indented tip configuration that allows a uniform flow of metal during the crimping operation.

How easy are they to use?
They are very easy to use, choose the male or female pin for application, insert the wire into the pin then open the crimp tool, insert into the hole of the indent crimper and squeeze until the cycle finishes.

How do you maintain the product?
This hand tool requires little maintenance. Please be advised that its good practice to keep the indenter tips free of debris. Do not lubricate with oil, this is a precision tool and should be treated as such.

The Importance of a High-Quality Crimp
When a crimping tool is used on a terminal, two crimps take place at the same time. One is the electrical connection between the conductor and terminal. The other is the insulation crimp which provides strain relief against vibration and tension. It is important that the electrical connection is gas-tight without any voids between the wire strands and the terminal.
