RS PRO RSFR-100 Series Fanless Power Supply
Introducing the RS PRO RSFR-100 Series Fanless Bench Power Supply. This compact and high-performance D/C power supply allows users to work without additional noise being created by the power supply due to the fanless design. The fanless design also means that dust or debris will not get sucked in, helping create a longer life cycle in comparison to other power supplies with fans. This bench power supply is a high-quality, versatile piece of equipment that can be used for a variety of applications and can be bought as a non-calibrated or calibrated (RS Calibration or UKAS Calibration) machine.
Features and Benefits:
Constant Power Output for Fivefold Multi-Range(V&I) Operation allowing users to self-define voltage and current under rated power conditions to satisfy them with wider voltage and current operational ranges
Fanless design that incorporates natural convection cooling for quieter working modes and avoids sucking in dust and debris
Preset Memory Function for conditions that are used frequently
Output ON/OFF Delay Function
CV, CC Priority Mode allows for the power supply unit to provide special functionalities to meet test requirements for different loads characteristics
Adjustable Slew Rate for Voltage and Current
The Bleeder Circuit Control allows the RSFR-100 unit to rapidly discharge to prepare itself for the next operation, which is especially useful when testing automatic equipment systems
OVP, OCP, AC FAIL and OTP can be monitored remotely
Support Front Panel and Rear Panel Output - The front panel output terminal helps users shorten test lead replacement time while conducting adjustment on front panel's function keys and the rear panel output terminal facilitates an easy wiring operation for rackmount assembly
Built-in USB and RS-232/485 Interface Optional LAN+GPIB
The built-in Web Server Monitoring and Control lets users remotely monitor the power supply unit via the internet, as well as being able to remotely observe and adjust their operating units in the lab from home
External Analog Control and Monitor Function
Remote Sensing Function
The multi-drop mode allows users to control up to 31 RSFR-100 series without using switch/Hub that help users save the equipment cost
The light-weight and compact unit weighs just 2.5kg making it a versatile and portable D/C bench power supply
Applications:
A bench power supply is an essential piece of equipment if you do a lot of electronics or other powered projects on your bench and need a reliable source of power at different voltages. They are very useful tools in testing circuits, as they allow you to adjust the voltage to a specific value depending on what project you are working on.
The most common and versatile regulated DC power supply is the constant current (CC) or constant voltage (CV) type which as the name implies can provide either a constant current or constant voltage within a certain range.
These units are generally used for:
