Product details

STEVAL-IDI009V1 PIR Sensor Signal Conditioning Kit

The STEVAL-IDI009V1 evaluation board conditions the signal generated by an on-board passive infrared (PIR) sensor for applications such as security alarms. A person moving in range of the sensor triggers a detection event, which can in turn be used to trip an alarm or command room lighting to be turned on, for example.

• Provides motion detection with a Murata IRA-E700ST0 PIR sensor
• TSU102 operational amplifier circuits perform signal conditioning
• Band pass filter bandwidth from 0.7 to 5Hz
• 24μA standby-current consumption
• Detection area can be widened with Fresnel lens (not included)
• 3 x Test points
• Arduino UNO v3 Shield headers
• Compatible with ST NUCLEO MCU development boards
• Powered from Shield header
• Suitable for home automation/security applications
